Installing WordPress Print

WordPress is one of the most popular website platforms, and you can install it on your Nodico hosting account in just a few minutes using the built-in installer inside cPanel.

Option 1: Install WordPress via WordPress Manager (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Scroll down to the Applications section and click WordPress Manager by Softaculous.
  3. Click the Install button.
  4. Select your domain from the dropdown list (leave “In Directory” blank to install in the root folder).
  5. Enter a site name, admin username, and password — keep them secure.
  6. Click Install. The installer will automatically create your database and configure WordPress.

Once installation is complete, you’ll see your new login link:

Admin URL: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Option 2: Manual Installation (Advanced)

  1. Download the latest WordPress package from https://wordpress.org/download/.
  2. Upload and extract the ZIP file into your public_html folder using the cPanel File Manager.
  3. In cPanel, go to MySQL Databases and create a new database and user.
  4. Assign the user to the database with ALL PRIVILEGES.
  5. Open your website in a browser and follow the on-screen WordPress setup wizard.

After Installation

  • Log in to your new WordPress dashboard at https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
  • Choose your preferred theme and install plugins.
  • Set up automatic backups and updates from WordPress or cPanel.
